THE BLT BUILT DESIGN AWARDS RECOGNITION IS A GREAT HONOUR FOR ALTER EGO

ALTER EGO Project Group is delighted to announce that our project Villa Pinède has received a special award from the BLT Built Design Awards 2022 in Interior Design / Residential category.

Villa Pinède is a grand-scale project, a family residence meant to become a legacy for future generations. The compositional and conceptual centre of the villa is the stunning lounge area, it brought to life the customer’s cherished dream to unite all the family members.

The planning idea allowed cleverly setting up an imposing spacious hall of 400 sq.m with high ceilings, creating a feeling of purity and balance and filling it with light and air. One of the most unique features of the interior is the fireplace. This 6-metre-high art object is made of a single slab of marble with the use of innovative technologies of stone processing.

The originality and distinctiveness of the interior is coupled with it being practical, consistent and pure in an avant-garde manner. The planning solutions are made with the modern ideas of comfortable life in mind, and the functionality of design sets the tone for the whole project.

The villa is equipped with cutting-edge technologies to achieve net-zero emissions and minimal energy consumption. On-site water treatment is implemented to filter waste water while underground heat pumps are used for heating and cooling.

Utilising natural materials for the interior our design team collaborated only with the manufacturers who use in their production woods from controlled and programmed cuts and extract stone in accordance with the Natural Stone Sustainability Standard.

The BLT Built Design Awards is an annual competition focusing on architecture, interior design, construction products, and project management. All entries are voted on by a grand jury panel composed of experienced and prominent academics, professionals, press members, entrepreneurs and leaders within the building industry.

Being awarded with a BLT Honorable Mention is a very public way of recognizing the hard work and achievements of ALTER EGO Project Group team, enabling us to express our perspective to the globe.
