About us

Moscow

“Moscow is a city that never sleeps.” It is a metropolis charged with energy and ideas, where history and contemporary life exist side by side and new opportunities emerge at every turn. For professionals willing to shape and realise ambitious projects, the city offers an exceptional environment in which to work. When ALTER EGO established its Moscow office in the heart of the capital, we wanted to be part of that energy — bringing a fresh perspective to architecture and design while engaging with the city around us.

Old Arbat was a deliberate choice. One of Moscow’s historic streets, it is steeped in stories, with almost every building carrying traces of the past. Our office occupies a multi-level penthouse on the top floor of an Art Nouveau building more than 120 years old. The space was designed as much around the way we work as around its architecture: carefully defined zones provide a comfortable setting for focused creative work and productive meetings with clients. A private terrace, with panoramic views across Moscow’s historic centre and the Kremlin, offers an extraordinary backdrop for ideas, creative sessions and working discussions.

Working routine

The Moscow office oversees the delivery and management of all ALTER EGO projects in Russia and neighbouring countries, while also serving as the company’s centre for engineering and project development. Working closely with our Milan colleagues, the team develops ideas and concepts and translates them into fully resolved projects tailored to local requirements and the needs of each client. From the first concept through to detailed implementation, the focus remains on maintaining a consistently high level of quality at every stage.

Office life

Work at ALTER EGO Moscow can, at times, continue around the clock. Yet some of the most valued moments are those when colleagues responsible for projects across Russia and around the world come together under one roof. These occasions bring the team, clients and partners together in an atmosphere that goes beyond work — combining the warmth of personal encounters and the pleasure of conversation with a shared sense of satisfaction in what has been accomplished and pride in the results.
